What are you calling shoulder on HHI? May and September? I used a 2 bedroom Canyon Villas platinum plus week and saw several September and Octobers I didn't see before. Nothing for late Spring. Maybe there's nothing available. Someone at II once told me they can't give what they don't have.

I did see a 3 bedroom SurfWatch with the Manor Club efficiency for Feb. 26 - March 11. I know that's not peak season, but for someone wanting to get some better weather at the end of a dreary winter, it's not bad. The average highs for HHI sure beat southeast Michigan.

This thread caused me to use the "new II website" more. I learned a bit about putting in a search. Didn't realize that under each resort option there's a "See More". The second time around I was able to see more dates.

there's an Ocean Pointe 2 bedroom available for an efficiency starting this weekend (11th).

Again, a peak week in the 60-day window.

Traded Lock Off for A 2 Bedroom Unit

We traded a Marriott Aruba Ocean Club lock off unit for a 2 bedroom unit at Grande Ocean in Hilton Head for the week of March 5 - 12. The Grande Ocean only has 2 bedroom units.

Apparently you can trade a MSE lockoff for MMC within II but you have to do it on the phone with a knowledgeable rep. They treat them as different resorts within II for some reason, and I believe you can do it outside of the 59 day period where normally 'like for like' trades are the norm.

I am still seeing good things with my LO. In the past I have traded a LO for a 2 BDRM Four Seasons Aviara in Dec. With a Aruba Surf LO I saw yesterday, a Barony 10/6 week and a GO late OCT week. These may not be prime weeks, but great vacation weeks none the less.

I think you are correct . . . at least that is what I was told at the Manor Club owner's meeting we attended in December. Karen
