so that is the name. "Gojo" means 5th Street, so that puts it further (north) from the main station than I thought it was. Main stn is on Hachijo (8th St) iirc, and there are at least a few blocks between each of the main Ichi, Ni, San, Shi, Go, etc streets. If avg 4 blocks between Go & Hachi, it would be 12 blocks north.Tradimo Kyoto Gojo
were did you find that infoFYI, for the first time I'm seeing dates for the Tradimo Kyoto Gojo instead of 'This resort is not yet open'. No inventory loaded yet...but it's a start!

For a while we had two nights at The Bay Forest Odawara but ended up releasing the reservation because it just *is* too remote if you don't have a car. We booked a hotel instead but I would love to fill that gap with the Tradimo Kyoto Gojo - a W/D in the middle of our trip would be very useful. But it looks like it's not gonna happen.
I see availability current open for booking during club season. But that resort has an interesting season chart. Is it hard to book Bay Forest?
I just have the one experience but I'd say not as difficult as the Florida Gulf but not easy either. I started tracking availability for March 2026 and about 2/3rds of the time there was no availability for Club reservations as the window opened through the end of April. I got the impression that most but not all owners book Home Week reservations and then perhaps change to a Club reservation to just stay the weekend (or the cheaper Sun-Wed days). Is it hard to book Bay Forest? On our bucket list for next Japan visit.

Me and my family are planning a trip to Japan next June for 13 days. Just getting a few opinions do you think this new resort will be hard to book during June? It would be wonderful if we can stay there instead of going with a hotel.
The other properties are hotels that have an agreement with HGV to allow points to be used for room reservations. But they have a very short reservation window of approximately 15-60 days.I’m kind of new to this, so I didn’t realize there were three more club properties. I’d really like to stay in the Kyoto or Osaka area
Many affiliated hotels are so expensive with points that you are better off booking directly or something else. The other properties are hotels that have an agreement with HGV to allow points to be used for room reservations. But they have a very short reservation window of approximately 15-60 days.
And they are located are in the sort of rural/mountain destinations that Japanese city dwellers like to vacation and are not particularly useful for someone wishing to visit those cities.
Yeah, I had pretty much dismissed the HGVC Japan offerings before for being high point cost and out in the boonies, but the Tradimo bucks the trend. Many affiliated hotels are so expensive with points that you are better off booking directly or something else.
