Trader Joe's Appetizers That Come to the Rescue at Every Party

Did somebody say Kringle and Mandarin Orange Chicken?
pumpkin%2Bdanish%2Bkringle%2B%25284%2Bof%2B7%2529.jpg

It's all your fault! Had to buy a kringle to try it out. Ours doesn't have nuts on top, just almond paste inside, so maybe they make more than one variety. Quite good, but big for two people so breakfast is set for a couple days. Now I need to find someone to blame for the cookies and candy that hopped into my cart too! I am addicted to the dark chocolate lacey cookies, a container doesn't last long around me.

Yeah, they have seasonal varieties too.....just to make it worse.

JoeWilly,

This is a pretty good one. Step 1 is making the Tzataki sauce if you have not already bought some.

I hope you like it.

Turdy - thank you for the receipe. We have a Trader Joes about 5 minutes from our house. I love their tzataki sauce. Have you tried their Gyro meat. It's in a box and vacuum sealed near the cut up veggie section. It's pretty good.

JoeWilly,
I am a very basic with meat. I have never developed an appetite for most meat including veal, lamb and gyro meat. Even in Greek restaurants I stick with chicken. Good luck with your cooking.
