I own a villa at the Sands....6 person occupancy, but only 4 persons will be staying there. Does that mean we will only be entitled to 4 sets of towels and 4 beach towels/day, or will be allowed six of each?

I am also an owner at the Sands. In my experience the villa will always have six sets of towels. I have also never had a problem taking out an extra beach towel or two regardless of how many guests we have in the villa.

Your villa will be stocked with a full set of towels no matter how few people are there.
As far as pool/beach towels go, you can keep them for longer than a day or exchange them several times in a day - that's up to you. We keep ours for several days unless they are dirty; it's easier than bothering to return them and check out new ones the next day, and is a "greener" alternative.

# of Towels is never a Problem

If you want 20 towels, I'm sure you could get them. But the # of towels has never been a problem and I'm not sure why you would need multiple beach towels unless you are looking to secure more beach chairs then you could use. If you towel gets wet/dirty/ect you just walk it over and exchange it, very easy.

Enjoy your trip and don't worry about the towels:)

20 Towels = 20 Pool Chairs?

Who me?? Save extra pool chairs??? Never!! I'm the one (or one of several) who wrote to the management at Royal Sands a couple of years ago to politely demand that the resort enforce the pool chair rules, actually received a personal response from up on high, and voila...when we arrived 2 months later for the ever-crowded weeks 51 & 52, the rule signage was up and the pool chair police were on duty and the system, at least in my experience for the past two years has worked beautifully. As a matter of fact, it's getting near that time to write again and express my appreciation for their past efforts and my anticipation that the process will be in place once again this year.

Actually, I like to have a towel for the chair, and a couple of extra towels to roll up to support my sore neck and my trick knee. Getting old is not for sissies. :)
