DD is in the Coast Guard & Pregnant and very busy and I saw this and thought she should try it. It is perfect for her busy schedule and she loves it. Simple meals and quick. When I visited her last month, she ordered some meals she thought I would like so I could try it. Had a Pork Chop and CHicken breast and both were really good. So when Black Friday hit the oven was on sale for $99 so I bit. You have to order 6 weeks of meals over the next 6 months to get that price. Well, the oven came and I have been trying it out. Made medium eggs with Avacado toast and perfect bacon. The one drawback is it is only effective if cooking for 1 or 2. DH says so it is basically a toaster oven. I have never owned a toaster oven but this has steam cooking which is why I think the meat came out perfectly cooked. Also bakes, broils, toasts, and reheats. They have both meals and recipes that you start from either your phone or scan the bar code.

So for the eggs and toast, you put both in, scan barcode and first it steam bakes the eggs and at the end toasts the bread. Much smarter than a toaster oven. I think this would be the perfect appliance for college kids....if they ever get to go back to school. I like that it heats up to 450 degrees but doesn't heat up the kitchen like my regular oven.

I’ve been watching this company for a year or two. I might order today at $99...I like that you may use their meals or your own food. Of course, the commitment is much more expensive since they require six weeks of meals within six months of order.

Well, I went ahead and ordered it. At $99 it’s definitely worth a test! And they have a 100 day return policy.

What do they charge if you don't buy six weeks of meals?

There’s a $100 buyout. However, it’s worth pointing out that “six weeks” seems to actually be six deliveries..and I’m starting with just three meals per week (after shipping it’s ~$42 per week), so $252 for 18 meals or $352 commitment (plus tax on the oven).

I was on the fence too but so far so good. Just reheated a slice of pizza...6min. If you do cook your own you need to use some type of metal or aluminum pans. I used a Cordell dish to cook the eggs this morning and it took longer than directions said....I think it took longer to heat up the ceramic than a metal pan. I ordered some disposal aluminum pans from amazon. You can get them through rivals but they cost twice as much

Good to know. Which pans did you order (link?)? I thought it included a couple pans. I definitely plan to cook with my own ingredients, so if that doesn't work as well as I hope it's likely I'll send it back.

I think you can use any little metal pan....these are very close in size to the tovala ones. It comes with a flat tray that I covered with foil to cook the bacon and reheat the pizza, crab cales, sausages

Ok, thanks. I have some small pans that likely will work, which I bought for the instant pot. I try not to use disposable pans when possible.
