TUG has for a long time listed the top 10 "TUG" rated resorts. TUG's Top 10 But recently has added several new top 10 lists. One for top 10 RCI, top 10 II, top 10 FF, top 10 Marriott and top 10 Sunterra resorts.

There was no surprise that the 2 Four Seasons were in the top 10 (they have always been top rated) But, what surprised me was that no Marriotts were in the top 10 and that 4 Royal resorts were in the top 10.

I had no idea that the Royal resorts were so good. I'd alway read about the Grand Mayan as being the top mexican resort but the four Royals are all rated better.

Who knew?

Following up on this, I know nothing about the Royals other than they were RTU and some of them are about to expire. Does anyone have any info general or otherwise about the Royals? Are they point based? Are they expiring soon? Are the weeks fixed or floating. What are they running as far as cost? Are they All inclusive?

TIA
