Can anyone recommend a hotel in Tokyo, Japan and/or Seoul, Korea. We would like to arrive in Tokyo a few extra days prior to our cruise. On the other end, we will need a hotel in Seoul, Korea to stay two days after the cruise.

We stayed Hilton Tokyo Odaiba, Hilton Tokyo and Conrad a few times. For sightseeing, you can walk from Conrad to Tokyo station and Ginza. Hilton Tokyo is across street from Tokyo City Hall with free observation deck. Hilton Odaiba is at Odaiba area with 2 big shopping centers within 5-10 minutes' walk; you have a nice Rainbow Bridge view at night.

Hilton Odaiba is more cost effective, in my opinion. All 3 hotels have easy subway access. For Conrad, subway is in next building through an underground tunnel; Hilton Odaiba is across a walkway; Hilton Tokyo is less than 5 minutes' walk.

we stayed at hyatt regency at tokyo. has airport limousine stop in front of hotel from haneda and narita

at seoul, we stayed at le meridien seoul. there us mist right across and aloft 1 block away. near major shopping area and 1 subway stop from seoul station

We his returned from Tokyo and stayed at the Grand Monday Ginza. It was great but not near the cruise ship terminal. I would highly recommend visiting the team lab museums. You have to buy tickets in advance.
