got the invitation that all of you have been talking about. Here is the photo impression of the new towers, etc.

These fixed units will have a beautiful view as it is nice to see some lush, green tropical foliage and palm trees in front of you as well as the beautiful blue Pacific ocean but the higher floors may have a better, unobstructed view yet. Can you imagine not to have to fret over the desired weeks? I would be sold if I had to vacation during that time of year.

I am sure that these timeshare condos will sell well and quickly too. :)

PS. They will have full kitchens too. It shows two floor plans in the email offer. It really looks nice with a beautiful view from the livingroom from a higher floor.

I just heard of an acquaintance who traded in their EY 2 BD OV floating Maui unit for an EY 2 BD floating OV unit in the new tower. Cost was $84,000, minus the $30,000 credit they received for their trade-in. Can this be right? Just wondering if the numbers I heard are correct. A Marriott sales rep last October had confirmed the rumour I'd heard that pricing would be in the $80,000's, but I guess I just still find it hard to believe. Anyone know if this sounds right? And yes, I'm sure they're going to be really beautiful!

The opening day price for 2 BR EY Floating weeks 1 to 50 is $53500. The garden mountainview is $44500.If they paid $80000 then perhaps they purchased an oceanfront fixed week.
