I closed on my purchase of a timeshare and have received my deed. I paid for Title Insurance on my settlement sheet. Should I receive something in writing that the search was made it it was clear?
You should receive a insurance policy from the title company guaranteeing that the title is vested as you directed in escrow. This is separate and apart from the property deed and the escrow closing statement.
The title insurance company may or may not be the same entity as the escrow agent.
