Tip for a nice smelling car. . .

On a trip through Costco, I was near the laundry stuff and a woman told me that she puts a tablespoonful or so of those scent pellets you toss in the washer in a snack or sandwich size ziploc bag then stab a few holes in it then throw it under your car seat. I did that maybe a couple months ago, and it still smells GREAT. Fwiw I use the Gain Strawberry scent, but any of 'em work.

I collect those scent pellet samples and use a few in the lining of our suitcases. They do loose their scent after a few months so I vacuum out the old ones and put new ones in. I only use about 1/4 of those little packets per suitcase. I also brought a packet with me to Belize and put some in our bin of linens that stays here in storage. The linen is vacuum-sealed in a large bag with the pellets dispersed among them, then placed into Rubbermaid tote. I guess I will need to buy a container of them when our samples run out.

I find that the McDonald's fries than I dropped under my seat have a nice fresh smell when it gets over 90 degrees outside.

All kidding aside, that sounds like a lot better option over stale french fries.
