Does anyone know anything about this company. I am ashamed to say it, but I signed on with them almost 4 years ago and now cannot find my add nor the company on the web.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is that you paid a fee, probably $599-$799 or so, to list your timeshare for sale. Many of these "upfront-fee" resale companies change names and disappear quickly, sometimes to avoid lawsuits and criminal prosecution.

If you paid such a fee, forget about it and read the "how to sell" article located at the top of the list of topics for this Buying, Selling, Renting forum. It has guidance for successfully selling your week without getting scammed. (The article will explain why you should forget about the fee you paid.)

Edited to note that if you use timesharequicksale or timesharesquicksale as a Google search term, you'll find that there was such a site that might no longer be active. You'll also see a number of complaints about this site - which does/did charge an upfront fee!

Why Nothing Happens After Paying Big Bux Up Front.

If you say you paid big bux to sign on with'm 4 years ago, then I know for certain that they are an Up-Front Fee Company -- whose primary business activity is collecting several hundred dollars from people wanting to sell off their timeshares.

Their secondary business activity is listing clients' timeshares on a web site somewhere, not with much concern whether anybody actually buys any timeshares off the list, but mainly just so that if the fee-paying clients ever make a fuss because nothing has happened 4 years after signing on, the company can point to the web site as evidence that at least they're trying.

Hope this helps....

Ref:

I heard the whistle, but I didn't foul him --- honest! :)

Fwiw, I happened to find an old hard copy article which I had printed out from this company's site back in late October, 2005. Ironically (or so it now seems), the article (which was not actually very informative; not sure why I even saved it in the first place) was about "scams in the timeshare industry". Anyway, I never initiated any contact with this entity, but a few pieces of info gleaned from the article may help you to track them down (if they even exist anymore and/or are not in jail somewhere). Some or all of the info may be outdated now (2+ years later) but fwiw, here it is:

1. Their phone number was 1-800-529-8313.

2. The complete, actual company name was reportedly Timeshares Quick Sale International (and reportedly Timeshares Quick Sale, LLC before that). No location or mail address is identified anywhere in the article.

3. Web site address, which was active on 10/27/05 (the date on which I had printed off the lame article) was http://www.timesharesquicksale.com. Quoted verbatim from the article, which is about 4 pages in total length (but containing only about 4 sentences of useful info):

"We offer maximum exposure on the Internet. We have an extensive arsenal of Web sites that will get your timeshare exposed to the maximum amount (sic) of viewers possible. We have 21 active web sites and a plethora of domains and links leading to them".

Following the above quote are indeed 21 different graphics to "click on" (hard to do now on a printed page) ---but each and every one of the 21 ads reflects the same phone number of 1-800-529-8313.

Also, if it helps, I vaguely recall seeing a very recent (w/in past 2 weeks) reference to this company's fate / status on another site (TS4MS, to be specific --- if I am allowed to identify that location solely to attempt to assist you). I seem to further recall that reference having been made by a poster named "skinsfan", who is clearly someone who is somehow involved in a timeshare resale or advertising company of some sort, but whose actual identity (or agenda) I don't claim or care to know. That person may know more that he/she might be willing to share --- I just don't know.

Hope some of these small leads help you, but of course the company might very well be long gone by now, or "reinvented" with another new name.
Good luck, happy hunting.

I know this company VERY well and I am sorry to say you lost that money you spent. They were one of the shady companies out there to watch out for. They did have 21 websites that no-one could find (or visited). Now you can't find any of them at all! The owner of that company had some rape charges filed against him back in 2005 and maybe he is in the clink... not sure (Here is a link to an article written on the timeshare beat... scroll down the page it's under "Florida, Tarpon Springs"). Wish I had better news for you! Here is the registration information on the company

Timeshares Advantage, LLC (this is who it is registered to)
8800 49th Street N
Pinellas Park, FL 33782
US
800-529-8313 fax: 727-461-9447

You guys rock !!!

After further review.... we have a personal stupidity foul on the home team.

Thanks for all the information and research. I'll post back if I find anything.

My husband and I paid $699 to Timesharesquicksale.com and never received even a hint of an interest from anyone in buying our timeshare. We did visit the website several times in the first six to eight months, but then quit doing so. Just this week we tried contacting our "salesman" and found the numbers (there are actually two plus a fax #) to be disconnected. I do have all of my information from when we initiated our contract with them. Their address is listed as:

Timeshares Quick Sale Intl.
1280 Court Street
Clearwater, FL 33756
Phone: 800-529-8313 (disconnected)
or
727-446-3415 (busy signal)
Fax: 727-461-9447

Our contact person was "Greg Wynn" (probably a fake as well). I have ALL of the information printed directly from their website (which no longer exists). We, unfortunately, are out several thousand dollars because of this entire mess. If you find them....please let me know.

Sorry for your loss, AARACH. See the middle paragraph in my above post for how to get back on track in selling your timeshare without getting scammed again.

Got scammed also But found them kinda

figured they had to be registered on sunbiz.org for all state of florida companies... thought they would be an inactive company apparently they are still active I am hoping this will help me get my money back and maybe it will help you get yours back too... here is the site and info i found
