I see the ads all the time for Timeshares Only. Are they on the up and up to rent from? I am always concerned about companies that advertise so much.

I don't trust any timeshare reseller which charges a large up front fee to list a TS for sale. As far as their rental business, might be fine.

I've heard they are okay to rent from. Just keep in mind that they charge a 20% commission (at least that's what they told me last year at this time) on top of the listed rental price. You can make a lower offer to compensate for that.

They sometimes charge fees which almost no other companies charge to both buyers and renters.

Be sure to know exactly what fees they want to charge you for their services. But, they are a legit place to buy or rent.

They also charge huge fees to sellers and people wanting to rent out the TS. This is almost never a good idea for the customer. IMHO, DO NOT USE THEM AS A SELLER!!

They are expensive but legit. They have a large office located on International Drive in Orlando. I have found their for sale listings priced pretty high for today's timeshare market but the listings can be useful when it comes to seeing what's avaliable out there. Whether you are renting or buying you can always make a lower offer and see if they take it.

couple weeks ago I made an offer of ~ $1.25 pp for a Platinum 2BR and they rejected it.

I bought a few from them when they were willing to deal. Now they don't even answer my bids so I stopped making them.

This does not bode well for those who are paying hundreds of dollars to list their weeks. :(
