I am looking at a unit being sold through timesharepro2 on EBay. Has positive feedback..anyone know or have any experiences with this seller?

have just bought from timeshare pro2 unit was advertised as full kitchen
which would have made it a large 1 bedroom unit .
on contacting starwood they have told me it is a small one bedroom unit.
no mention on unit number on the paper work .
beware?
also has same address as closing company

You do know that your ebay timeshare purchase is non-binding, according to what I've seen posted here several times...

Tom - his deed has already been recorded...

Timesharepro2

I have purchased from them before and have had satisfactory results if there was a problem. They refunded the purchase price if an ad was incorrect.

Any new info on this seller?

I'm looking at one of his listings right now -- almost sounds too good to be true (I've been tracking TS's at this resort for a while)

And I'm not sure I've ever purchased from any EBay store that has so few sales...

I love eBay, have never been burned, but I've always been very careful.

Seller

I purchased a timeshare about 1 year ago, turned out to be a studio instead of a 1 bedroom, had my full refund back in about two weeks. Purchased another one about 2 months ago and everything went well.

Could you post a link to the listing. You can wait until it's ended in case you are worried about competition from a TUGger.

I would like to add this seller to my "favorites' list so I can watch some of his or her future auctions.

Thanx!

If you're truly interested - bid based on what is represented up to what it is worth to you. It is physically impossible to conduct appropriate due dillegece in the eBay auction time frame

Before sendig any money verify what was represented to the nth degree, if there is any variation you are under no obligation (moral or legal) to complete the transacation.

Automatically appended to any T/S listing in eBay

By participating, you are not entering into a contract to purchase this property. You are, however, expressing serious interest in the property and in pursuing contract discussions.

As far as any vague threat for non performance the eBay feedback system was effectivey neutered by not allowing the seller to ding your rating

Why are sellers allowed to leave only positive Feedback for buyers?
Sellers used to be able to leave negative Feedback for buyers. Unfortunately, we found that when buyers had bad experiences with sellers, they were often reluctant to leave neutral or negative Feedback out of fear that the seller would retaliate by leaving negative Feedback for them. And when buyers did receive unfair negative Feedback, they usually decreased their shopping on eBay. Overall, it became clear that the fear of retaliatory negative Feedback made it more difficult for good sellers to distinguish themselves from not-so-good sellers, and made the Feedback system as a whole less reliable.

Three non paying bids on binding auctions will get you booted, but the T & C on Real Estate Auctions would not qualify them for that action

The moral of the story is to bid without fear of recourse, but do not advance any funds without absolute assurance of all of the facts

YMMV

I am not advocating random bidding without recourse, however if it is a property you are truly would intend to purchase based on the facts represented in the ad you can bid with confidence based on the representations of the seller subject to verification of all of those facts prior to sending any money,

An update on our purchase:

Yes, TimesharePro (or should I say their closing company located in the office next door) is sloooooooooowwwww. My advice: if there are 2 identical units and one is being sold by them, another by a seller with better references on Tug eg. Cybernaut -- take the other one.

We are almost one month into the purchase and the online purchase tracker has yet to be updated re. our payment to escrow and our returning the contract (2 weeks ago!)

In fact, likely we will buy another TS to use in Feb. since I can't imagine being able to get a reservation at CPR by the time we close.

Hello,

I am timesharepro2 on ebay. My name is John Kushman and I appreciate those that have commented positively for me here on tug. Also I appreciate those buyers that have purchased from me in the past. As previously stated, if anything is ever incorrect in my ebay ads I will refund the buyer 100%. If anyone has any questions for me feel free to message or email me.

Redrosesix:

The Final Documents were sent to the resort on August 29 (Saturday) and the resort confirmed transfer on September 1.
