I love the idea of taking a driving trip to different parts of the Country. In this post, I talk about a trip around California. Below are the locations I travel to. I first started in San Francisco and headed toward San Diego stopping at Marina Dunes in Monterrey, Solvang, and then ending up in Oceanside and SanDiego (Mission Valley). I next headed North east to Indio and Big Bear. Continuing North to Bass Lake and Angels Camp allowing for day trips into the Sierra's. I then headed west stopping at Clear Lake and Point Arena (GEVC Lighthouse). The final leg of the trip was to stop in Windsor for some wine tasting before heading back to San Francisco.

I love doing timeshare driving trips where I get to see large sections of the US on a single trip.

Thanks for the trip rundown. Sounds like a nice loop to make.
