I have stayed at three wonderful timeshares on the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. I stayed at the Westin Princeville, the Club Wyndham Bali Hai Villas, and the Makai Club. As a comparison, the cost to rent a two bedroom unit at each is $820/night for the Westin Princeville, $509/night at the Club Wyndham Bali Hai Villas, and $263/night at the Makai Club. These prices are on the company website. You can probably do better on booking.com or another hotel site... I stayed with timeshare points so my rates were well below even what booking.com charges, since I am using prorated timeshare maintenance fees.
Each property had unique features. The Westin had the best pools and Ocean views. The Bali Hai was the most Hawaiian in its style and had great pools... And the Makai Club had views of the mountains with their property right against a small woods. I had almost three weeks in Princeville and I spent a fair amount of time at Wylii's beach.
