Timeshare Rescue

Thank you that is what I thought. I guess this goes to show what type of a company TSR really is. You can be assured that the person who called got the full story form me. I will not hesitate to to tell anyone who will listen that this company preys on those that truely do not understand the complex nature of timeshare sales.

I'm glad I found this thread. I just got something in the mail from Timeshare Relief. What I don't understand is how this company has an "A" rating with the BBB.

I'll just keep trying selling on my own.

Pay a charity rather than a PCC....

If you are tempted by the Timeshare Relief pitch- check into some of the charities.. Some offer a similar service- where they will actually deed the property out of your name in return for a large cash donation (likely $2,500 to $3,500).. They will then try to dump the property later, just like the PCC's, but you'd at least get a tax benefit from the upfront donation fee!

My only warning if you look into this- is find one that allows you to choose the closing agent! That way you can at least be confident that the ownership gets transferred out of your name.

Don't confuse these with 501c charities that only accept a "listing" and the ownership stays in your name until sold....

I still strongly believe your best option is simply to sell on your own and donate cash- but if you don't want to deal with the frustration and finally decide to throw in the towel and pay big- it's at least a better choice....
