Can anyone share the lastest number/guess of people in the US that own timeshares ?

This information is published regularly by ARDA and other industry groups. I apologize that I don't have a copy of a recent study, but I can provide you with information from a study published by RCI back in 2003..

A total of 1,767,000 households own timeshares in the US.

Four million households worldwide now own a vacation interval, with owners residing in 190 countries.

You may be able to find more current information at either the ARDA website www.vacationbetter.org or at a respected timeshare magazine such as www.vacation-times.org.
