Hello community!

I'm a brand new member here and hopefully a soon to be timeshare owner. I am curious for any advice or wisdom that may be shared around buying time shares on the resale market. I am most familiar with Wyndham and have stayed at several of their resorts between a friends are RCI time share as well as promotional visits. I'm curious and intrested in buying points through Wyndham and am mostly considering the ratio of annual fees to annual points. Could anyone share your thoughts on what to consider when buying on the resale market beyond the normal appropriate considerations around not getting into a fraudulent situation or getting scammed? Am I thinking rightly about fees to points? Am I missing something? I welcome any and all feedback. Thank you in advance!

Welcome! You're in the right place to get educated and make an informed decision BEFORE you part with your hard-earned money. Many of us are happy resale owners.
I'm not a Wyndham owner, and am only loosely familiar with their system, so you might consider reposting to the Wyndham forum. You'll probably get more targeted information.

Happy Travels!

Jim
