I posted in the Hilton Grand Vacations club forum because I thought that’s what I owned, but they are telling me I own Hilton vacation club. I have asked Hilton numerous times what I own and they are telling me Hilton Grand Vacations club however, I do not have a deeded property I only have points in a US collection? Is this the right spot??

The fact that Hilton can’t even tell me what I own brings me to the point that I’m trying to get out of my timeshare. We bought in July because they told us a bunch of lies and none of those lies have come true. I’ve been trying for months to get out of it. Hilton has made me an offer to pay $2400 towards maintenance fees. I have submitted a complaint with a Better Business Bureau and the attorney general. Everything I have to prove that they lied to me is verbal and as I’m reading on my contract, verbal agreements, do not count. Should I bite the bullet and take the $2400 or should I keep fighting this? Is there any way for me to get out of this at all and at least recoup some of my money we paid? Because of the lies they told us we cannot afford this at all and it doesn’t work for us for vacationing.

Yes. US Collection is a Trust in what used to be Diamond Resorts but known as The Club. Hilton knows what US Collection is and the difference between it and deeded properties. Maybe it is a new person that told you that. HGVC are all deeded properties.
