Hi all,
So I am trying to decide on 2 different timeshare resales and would like some input before deciding. I am mainly going to use as a trader.

1) Marriott Grand Chateau 3 bedroom lockout floating platinum season - $2500 price plus $2300 MF

2) Sheraton Desert Oasis 2 bedroom lockout floating platinum season - $1500 price plus $1450 MF

I feel like the Marriott will let me trade into better resorts. What do others think is the better choice as a trader?

also has anyone stayed at bluegreen studio at Ellis square in Savannah? I am thinking of looking into it as I like to stay in Savannah often. The bluegreen system seems a bit confusion compared to the other.

thanks

One thing to consider is whether either would try to block you from trading throaugh an independent exchange company like SFX. The way the big two are going, it is nice to have other options.

Into what resorts do you want to exchange?

There is a Marriott-to-Marriott preference for Interval exchanges and similarly, a Sheraton/Westin-to-Sheraton/Westin preference. So if your targeted exchanges are largely to Marriotts, take the Grand Chateau. If you will looking for Westins, buy the SDO.

Both are good exchangers, but each can be useful strategically.
