Hello, we received an unsolicited call yesterday from this company asking if we wanted to sell out timeshare. Well, we would be interested in that but we paid $499 once a few years ago and threw our money away. We are trying to find out if the company is legit. Their BBB rating is A-. I've emailed the Florida Attorney General to see if there are any problems...have not heard back yet. The man we spoke with says they have an auction most weekends and the asking price for our Courts unit (week 27) at Vistana is between $16,000 and $19,000. Sounds like a come-on to me. I see Vistana 2 BR units from $1000. to $2500. on the TUG site. So something seems fishy. He also said he can get us rentals to timeshares for $500. He says there is no out of pocket expense for us. The buyer assumes all closing costs.

Does anyone have information on this company, or can you offer advice on how to check on them further?

Thanks so much.

Total baloney! Don't do it!

Sheraton Vistana Resort weeks are going for $1 on ebay.

As soon as he has you hooked into the deal, an "unexpected fee" will pop up:
taxes
closing cost
escrow fee
title search
refundable guarantee of commission
All BOGUS!

I dont know about this specific company but when I get those calls I tell them that I am not interested if there is any up front fee at all. Most say goodbye at that point. Sometimes they will say that there is not but then later in the conversation there has always some kind of something or other that comes up that makes it necessary for me to put out money out of my pocket. At that point I repeat that I will NOT pay money. IF they sell it they can take their cut out of the proceeds, period. At that point they have always said goodbye.
