I own Windjammer Landing St Lucia week 15. I recently found out the week I deposited last year does not have my Windjammer's usual trading power. The VC told me it was because we deposited it late??? In reality I tried to deposit the week earlier but there was a mistake at the resort level and RCI could not confirm the Fees were paid and bounced the week back.

VC told me there was nothing they or a manager could do to correct the weeks trading ability. ???

What are the Highest to Lowest deposit timeframes for trading power?

We have been more than pleased with RCI in the past but the last 2 years we have had bad experiences. I hope it is a run of bad luck or I doubt we will be renewing our membership.

Thanks for any assistance,

Todd

OHTodd,

If your resort declined to authorize your deposit request, we would not have been able to finalize it. Sorry to hear about the delay.

Trading Power is maximized when you deposit your week 12 months or more in advance. Trading Power is less day by day as you do not deposit your week under the 12-month timeframe. Late depositing can affect weeks differently. Locations that require airfare, for example, may experience a more dramatic reduction in Trading Power at closer dates because they are more likely to go unused.
