Think this morning's cold is bad? In 1923, parts of Michigan had a foot of snow on May 9

Yes, thankfully just a few flurries on my he way to the cottage this morning.:cool:
 
and just what is wrong with snow in May???

Sounds like heaven to me!
 
It started snowing here (2hrs north of Toronto) late last evening and by this morning we had at least 4 inches on the ground! Some parts near us got 6" of the white stuff! Our son who is working in northern Alberta (Fort Mac) is enjoying sunny weather with daytime temps in the mid 60'sF while ours are in the low 40's! Crazy weather!

It was cold and breezy this morning in Southeastern Virginia .
 
It was very cold last night in SC, in the 30’s, but the warm sun put us in the mid 60’s today. I was outside all day. Normally we are much hotter by now.

That's pretty nice, 47 sunny and breezy here in northern MI. It depends on what we are used to.
 
Same in northern NH. Big accumulations.

Here is the lakes region we ended up with less than a half inch when all was said and done. The wind blew a lot of it away, plus the sun melted it.
 
We just got a few flurries here in Toronto overnight and this morning. When I woke up this morning there was a light dusting of snow on cold surfaces, such as the shed roof and the car roofs. But it all melted as the sun came up. Very weird weather lately in Toronto, particularly this late in May. Our highs should be closer to 18C (65F) at this time of year, instead of 8C (45F)!! What happened to spring?!? :shrug:
