We've all heard you're not going to get your money back in the market these days. That said, how aggressive is TOO aggressive for pricing? I've seen timeshares similar to the one I have to sell on Redweek (nothing like it here, though). Now, I know they're not selling at that price, but I obviously want to keep the losses down to a minimum.

So, for those of you who have actually had sales recently - what are you seeing you had to cut the price to relative to other listings?

In essence, your week likely won't sell unless it's priced at least as low as the lowest listing you can find for your timeshare or one similar to it. Many timeshares won't sell at all these days. Some eBay auctions are getting no bids, even at $1.

If you have a prime week (e.g., summer at a beach resort), your week should sell easily if it's priced properly. However, if you have an offseason week at a secondary resort in an overbuilt location (e.g., Orlando) or an area where tourist traffic is light during the period you own (e.g., April in the mountains), you might not be able to sell at any price.
