This has got to be the worst web site I have ever tried to navigate! I have been trying to list my timeshare (Stardust Tahoe) unit for the 4th time, and I get sent around from one link to another, usually a search link. I don't want a search link. I just want to click on a link and get there to post my listing!

As a "newbie" you may not have access to everything on this website yet.

Hal, we show all your listings are expired.

To make any changes to your ads posted in the TUG marketplace you simply need to log in here: https://ads.tug2.net

once doing so, click the Timeshare Marketplace drop down option at the very top of the screen and select "view your classifieds"

this will display all of the ads you have created in the marketplace and you will see an "Ad options" button to make changes as applicable!

if you are having an issue with the above, please let me know and ill help you sort it out.

here is a video guide on how to post a listing if you are trying to post a new ad

My bet is on operator error....

there are plenty of things that arent ideal with the separate TUG sites, i like to pretend im talking to my mother when people get confused or need help as something might be super easy or intuitive to me...but is extremely confusing to others (especially those not used to it).

Nope, not shopping at Grouch33's store.

Maybe instead of insulting the people that are trying to help you
You could try a posative attitude and ask for help
I personally have had nothing but great results here …simply by asking nicely….try and old fashion way of doing things… amazing how that still works today 👍

I can see why they think they are getting pushed to a search link. When you choose the option to post a new listing, you do literally have to search for the resort you are placing the listing for. This is to be expected. As for the TUG2 site in general, I find if I navigate to the site using one of the menu options at the top of the forums, most of the pages I go to I have to log in. When I log in I am then routed to the Dashboard and not the section I linked to.

Example. If I click the Resort Reviews at the top of the forums and select Timeshare Reviews, it takes me to the page to browse resorts. But if I try to log in from that page, after logging in it takes me to the Dashboard. If I select a resort first and then log in, it seems to take me back to the resort page. There are just a number of pages where after log in I am pushed to the Dashboard. It really should just always take me back every time to the page I was on when I clicked the login button. Not a big issue, but a minor annoyance when navigating the site.

That's not what I see: After I enter the resort name, it takes me directly to the create classified ad page - just 3 clicks.

this is a good suggestion, we should be able to redirect to the original page that prompted a login vs default to the dashboard. ill see what we can do there.

Yes, that works as you navigated away from the landing page you were taken to after clicking the link from the BBS. Instead, at the top of the forums pick Resort Reviews then select any of the items. When on the TUG2 site, don't search for a resort, click login and then login. You will be pushed back to the Dashboard instead of the Browse Resorts page. If you search for a resort first, it doesn't do that. Like I said, just a minor nuisance but does require more navigation if you choose to log in before browsing for a resort.

Thank you for the kind answer. Most of the answers I got were as offending as my original! And for that I am sorry, as it was tainted with frustration. I never even got a simple straight answer from the moderators. I don't understand why the technical writers of these websites don't go back and run the site just as any customer has to, with all the goofy mistakes and all. Now I will try your suggestion. Thank you again.

Yep, username checks out.

can you elaborate on this? a moderator would not have any interaction with someone regarding their marketplace listings?
