We put in a late search for our son for the Outer Banks and just matched with this resort. Also unit M according to RCI. It would not be my first choice but it is on the beach. has anyone stayed there?? Does anyone have a resort map (units). I would appreciate any info..
Thanks

I've stayed there, and it's OK. When we arrived and they checked us in, we discovered the prior occupants' trash still there, so that put me off at first, but I got over it as the week went on. Units are older but spacious and functional.

I have a friend who owns there and loves it, has been going for years - and we met lots of owners who own to use and never exchange.

Sorry, I don't have a map. There should be a balcony with a waterview, but probably no view from inside. Location is good, close to Sam n Omie's restaurant, the road to the mainland and the road to further south towards Hatteras, and the little outlet mall if you care. There's wifi at the office and at some of the units close to the office.

If the exchange is for this summer, and your son doesn't need upscale, I'd take it.

Thanks for the infio Laurie. He decided to take it. It's for Aug 20th check in and at this point, we might not get anything much better. It is on the beach and it seems big enough for them. We'll be at Outer Banks Beach Club I the same week so he can always join us for a day at the pools, etc. Also, we found out that the unit is the second from the beach and that was appealing to him. They say they all have a view from their little balconies.
