I am trying to check the review of the ridge tahoe at Navada, I am surprised that there is not any review for it. could tuggers here give me some idea about this resort?
thank you so much!

It is now under Holiday Inn at the Ridge resort. Holiday inn bought them out a few years ago.
I stayed there in the fall a couple of times probably 10-15 years ago. All needed serious updating at that time. The Naegle unit was great for location, size and views but needed updating. The Plaza unit was large but the windows wouldn't open more than an inch and it was pretty miserable without AC. I'm more concerned with location vs furnishings, but I do want a good nights sleep.

We only stayed in winter for the proximity to Stagecoach ski lift. A basic timeshare below the major brands. A very large unit with 80s furnishings.

Been an owner of 3 units at Ridge for about 15 years. I like it a lot. We go summer and winter. Winter at the Tower units right across from the tram to the ski area and the reception building with restaurant, bar, store and other facilities, and Summer at the Emerald units which are extra large, in Cascade building. They have been doing rotating upgrading of buildings and the new decor is nice. Not luxury per Westin, Hyatt, or the better Marriotts, but still very livable and more spacious than many timeshares. The staff has a pretty friendly and homey attitude.

I have not stayed in the other buildings other than the Naegle once, but the Tower has incredible views of Carson Valley if you request the valley view side, and the Emerald units and Cascade roof deck with barbeques has a wide view with a sliver of a lake view and a hot tub.

It is great in Summer for nearby hiking, with trails right outside the property onto the Tahoe Rim Trail and to Van Sickle bi-state park, plus many other trails driveable nearby. A shuttle takes you down into town and back if you don't want to drive. It's a bit less convenient than staying in Heavenly Village for townside activities, but the view and self contained resort up top is nice too.

If you are a beach bum or just like to laze around or shop, stroll or gamble, it's not the best located, but for active outdoors people, it's tremendous.

Thank you very much for the many tuggers input! I got a lot better idea for this resort!
