Has anyone stayed at The Masters Villas at Paradise Canyon recently? If so, can you tell me anything about the resort/units? The latest reviews on TUG are from 2017. I was hoping to hear something more current. It has mostly positive reviews on Trip Advisor, but only 3 of 15 reviews are post-2020.

We plan on using this as a base for visiting some of the National Parks (Zion & Bryce). We will be adding some days at the beginning of the trip to stay in Vegas and visit Hoover Dam and hopefully Death Valley. Then will add a couple of days at the end of the trip to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We hope to squeeze at least one state park into this visit too. I'd love some suggestions on what to see/do while at or own our way to the parks!

We stayed there a year or two ago, and it was an II Getaway week. The unit was fine, a little dated but homey. Customer service was great. The garage had a golf cart that you can use around the property and range balls are free. If you want to visit Zion and Bryce, you are better off staying in St George as it makes it a shorter drive. Worldmark has a property in St. George and that's what I would recommend.

We wanted St George. In fact we didn't have Masters Villas in our request, but during a manual search the "perfect week" popped up for Masters Villas. Our vacation window shrank significantly when 1 of our 3 kids got accepted into a college prep high school this year. :cheer: (We've been applying for 7 years!) Now we are dealing with 2 different school districts and one school is year-round. Plus they play sports which frequently spill into our summer break. Our vacation window is now TINY. This "perfect week" falls during dead weeks for sports and during both schools' summer breaks. I'm trading a premier week, but it isn't a name brand with priority so I decided to jump on this one. I'm sure at some point during all the driving I'll ask myself if I should have held out for St George though! :)

If you want to save your premier week and have better use for it, you can PM me the dates and I can check if if Worldmark has availability. Otherwise, enjoy your stay at the Masters Villas.

Thank you for the offer, but our vacation windows are so small, that it would be highly unlikely we could fit multiple vacations into our schedule next year. My husband is on call over the Christmas holiday, the only other time the school systems' schedules sync up. Plus I live in a county that was hit hard by flooding due to Helene. We are still waiting to hear when one school district will reopen. It sounds like the best-case scenario will be in 2 more weeks. If the state makes them make up the days weeks missed, that will further shrink my window. Anyway, thanks again for the offer and the advice! Much appreciated.

For state parks, Snow Canyon isn't far from St George and was interesting. Valley of Fire in Nevada was also good but I don't know about going in the summer (we were there in May on a cooler than normal day when the highs were only in the 70s). Although not a state park, Red Rocks right outside of Vegas was also nice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have Valley of Fire on my list, but I haven't considered the other two. I'll do a little research on them.
