The Giraffe Test

There are 4 questions. Don't miss any of them!

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

Stop and think about it and decide on your answer before you scroll down.

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2.How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?

Wrong Answer.

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant, and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend .... Except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory.

Okay, even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles, and you do not have a boat. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across.
Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the Professionals they tested got all questions wrong, but many preschoolers got several correct answers. Anderson Consulting says this conclusively proves the theory that most professionals do not have the brains of a four-year-old.

Send this out to frustrate all of your smart friends.

PS: Just the fact that I sent it to you should make you feel good.

I'm not up to par today.

I got the first two right off the bat, but didn't know the animal conference was going on at the same time the elephant was in the fridge. It took me awhile to admit I didn't know the last two.

So since I answered half quickly, does that mean I'm half-fast?

Dave

If one can assume the refrigerator is big enough for a giraffe, why can't they also assume it's big enough for a giraffe and an elephant, which renders questions 2, 3 and 4 meaningless?

I believe its less about the size of the fridge and more about the animals tendency towards each other....Giraffe's are kinda Snooty with their heads always in the clouds

25 % or 1 out of 4 or just plain old number 3. :D

When I took out the giraffe, I took out the milk, too, so there would be more room for the elephant, since he was larger. Does that count?

You are a halfwit. :hysterical: :hysterical:
I am a nitwit. I got them all wrong.

I got #1 right, but for #2, I took off the door to make room for the elephant.
Then I got #3 right, but I wanted to cross the river by taking my elephant out of the refrigerator and riding her across. I tend to look for the more complicated approach, I guess.

That's exactly what I did for 2 and 4!

The first two questions got me thinking, and I answered the last two correctly. Good brain exercise for an aging brain.

I also chose to take the elephant out of the fridge as the elephant was not at the conference, but then again how did I know if the conference was still going on?
