We’re fans of Hormel Black Label. Of course you have to look through the packages to find the one with the highest lean meat to fat ratio!

All bacon is recommended. I feel most store bacons are pretty much the same. I would agree that I have a slight preference for OM. We buy the low salt variety as the normal is too salty for us.

We grow our own. Feed the hogs spent grains from breweries, so they're beer pigs, making it beer bacon. They also get the occasional barrel of corn mash from a local distillery, too.

I like Gwaltney and Smithfield foods bacon .... (full disclosure, I used to work for the company several lifetimes ago)

If I MUST buy supermarket bacon, I'll buy Hormel Black Label, but we have a local brand here- Falls Brand- that is head and shoulders better than any supermarket brand. They DO market to Costco, so I know it's available in some Costco areas, though I don't think it's national. Worth a look, if you're in the West.

Once owned these: FirstFairway@Walden X 2; Lawai Beach; ManhattanClub; PuebloBonitoRose; 4 South Africa--now timeshare-free
I love Costco Kirkland brand bacon, but I don't know the supplier.
