The Bachelor TV show- please clear this up for us

We thought last week it showed a quick piece of next week's (last night) show with the old girlfriend showing up at The Bachelor's house. Well, last night's show, nothing like that.

Did we miss something.:ignore: I just adore the Bachelor -- he is soooo sweet.
 
On the first episode, I think they were showing clips of things we would see this season. The old girlfriend will return sometime during the season, but not last night.
