1,2,6 & 8 are my favorite movies on this list. There are no WWII movies on this list or John "The Duke" Wayne movies.

How could we forget "The Sound of Music". It's such a classic. And on the other side of the spectrum: "Young Frankenstein" :D

'The Sound of Music' was not forgotten by viewers - it was number 3 on the original list of 10.

Steamboat Grand, The West,
Raintree and, formerly, The Allen House
Top Gun (I flew in the back seat of an F-14 like Goose), Animal House (call me Otter), Casablanca, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Young Frankenstein (a movie my granddaughter and I love but not my daughter), The Great Escape, The Battle of Britain, Bullitt (been looking for that Mustang ever since I saw that movie the first time), Branigan, Airplane........

Most of them are WWII, being a history fanatic and born the day after Pearl Harbor but good movies are a personal choice. ;) My girlfriend's favorite is Pretty Woman but there's no way I would ever spend more than 30 seconds watching that save being tied in a chair :D

Cheers

Major League and II and III are on my list, I watch them every year during the baseball season, I just forgot them when writing my list.

Pedro Cerrano (Dennis Haysbert) is the spokesman on All State commercials.

Capote- with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. So sad Hoffman is gone because he was one of the best actors ever. He could pay any role. Also Robin Williams such talent wasted.

Another John Wayne fan. I have probably seen every movie he has been in, most more than once.

Speaking of John Wayne, I won $1,600.00 on the John Wayne slot machine at the Aquarius Casino resort in Laughlin Nevada last Tuesday night.
