tennis, orange lake and recommendations
We are big tennis fans , so since I see some knowledgeable people here ,may I ask about tennis at Orange Lake. Are there a lot of courts ? reserve or fee’s? enough players that you can find a game? We have stayed at many different resorts, many have a token court or two in rough condition, we have also experienced Vistana in Orlando which had 9 clay courts , free to use but still not many tennis players, and Edisto Fairfield who really had no courts , but there was a club on premise which had high fee’s….
I have heard a lot about Orange Lakes lately, I’m guessing this is a nice timeshare with lots of activities on site? Can anyone recommend any timeshares they enjoy, especially in regard to tennis. We, live in Roanoke, Va , we owned and enjoyed several timeshares in Navarre Florida , that were lost two years ago in Hurricanes … they have finally decided not to rebuild , so we will be looking to buy a couple others. I would especially like to find (other than a good deal) some within driving distance , love Hilton head (tennis and 8 hours away) but also Florida to Michigan (daughter in Michigan) to Iowa (folks near there). Pool, hot tubs and bicycle friendly would be nice also. The timeshares we had were a small Mom and Pop type place on beach (the beach condo in Navarre, Fl) smaller fees and the association always had some units available that had been turned in ,or someone wanted out at a low price.
I know I need to learn about points also (which I am off to do here soon)… but if anyone knows about cool tennis timeshare’s or one they enjoy and recommend , I’d appreciate the heads up.
Thanks John
