It's been a while since I picked a week to trade, usually it is a change of plans and I deposit whatever I had reserved.
Looking at the TDI in Palm Desert it looks like week 7 - 17 all have same demand, so is any week then have same power vs getting Easter week or Tennis Tournament.
Not talking about renting, just for power in II.

Thanks

If they all have the same TDI they should contribute to trading power equally in that way.
There are some extra factors II uses for determine trading power so maybe a holiday gives a little boost.
But not enough that you should delay depositing and requesting- a few points won’t matter and it is best to request earliest.

In terms of trading, it probably isn’t going to make all that much of a difference from one of the weeks to the next. Especially if you’re trading Marriott to Marriott. So I wouldn’t worry too much about what you try to reserve. All the weeks will work functionally the same.

I agree with Jeremy but I also believe there are differences between resorts and the TDI is just a rough approximation. One other consideration is when you'd wan to travel. If you get a week with a TDI that gives you a better option 2 years out based on your usual travel plans, that is helpful.

That's why I was asking. If it is all close enough, then getting a week late April give me more time to figure out what I want to do two year from now vs getting a mid March week

It's not uncommon that I take a reservation for deposit that is likely to have slightly lower power because it works better with my plans and schedule if I have to use it up that last year. That way I can try for things I might not get and then use the deposit on more reachable options that last year if necessary.
