You get the state program butr state e-file is $19.95 extra

How is it different from the one they advertise for free.

That's OK. Last year the State paper filed refund arrived before the efiled Federal refund.

I wouldn't pay to efile a state return anyway. Here there is free software from the state available also, but it means reentering information already stored in tax cut.

I wasn't aware there was a free version but Mr Google helped:

TaxCut Free File from H&R Block
Get simple, FREE federal online tax preparation with TaxCut Free File from H&R Block. You qualify if you:

* Have an adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $54,000 or less and
* are 50 years of age or younger

Don't know why the age restriction but that precludes me.

Try again MelBay. I just purchased the software for $24.97. For some reason the California tax was not added.

Thank you yan19454 for sharing this great deal. The best price I could find was $34.95 plus California tax.

Bob
