Tampa Bay Lightning Games

Just wondering what sites you use to purchase Lightning Tickets....have bought them at the Forum but want guaranteed seats before we head out to Tampa. Just a few Canadians looking for a good hockey game!!!

Honestly, when we were there we were shocked at the prices - cheap, cheap, cheap. As a matter of fact, there was a special advertised as a rip-off coupon on the front of the daily paper that it was a free ticket with some sort of gas fillup or something. And there have been groupons for tickets as well, might be worth it to sign up for Tampa.

Next time we're going to plan a trip to Florida when the Canucks are there - it's the only way we can afford to see them play!!

My brother got tickets for a Canadiens game day or two before and had good seats. Not sure what he paid but he wouldn't be paying a lot, I know.

Last time we were in that part of Florida during hockey season, I purchased them straight from the team site. http://lightning.nhl.com/index.html


There was no problem getting tickets (they were playing Carolina) and you can print them from the web site.

1- Go to the lightning web site and you can buy from either the Team or Ticket Exchange. Both are run by Ticket Master. Ticket Exchange can be lower or higher than face value. These are season ticket holders that are selling thier tickets through the club.

4- Craigslist

5- PM a season ticket holder who happens to be a TUG member, has tickets 3 rows from the glass who only goes to a few games a year but likes to support the home team and sells his tickets through all 4 options listed above.

We went to a Lightning game last fall. We bought our tickets on Stub Hub. Dead centre; 3 rows from the very top in the nosebleeds; $17 each for a Saturday night game.

Not bad for a team that lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final in the final period.
