We have an RCI exchange starting Friday, Nov.26. and this will be our first visit. Can TUGers familiar with this TS and location give us some helpful hints and suggestions? First - Is there a shuttle from the airport or do we take taxi? What is in walkable distance? Thanks in advance.

It's pretty much further than I would consider walkable. If you have other stuff you want to do- Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Fremont St. Shows at big casinos, A car is helpful. There is a Whole Foods at a strip mall fairly close, and Uber will get you around in L.V. You can get day-of-show tickets at Tix4Tonight | Las Vegas Shows Half Price | #1 Source for Discount Tickets but beware, all you get is a voucher and you have to go to the casino to get actual tickets, so it takes 2 trips.

Here's the Deuce Bus (Strip shuttle) route and schedule. I does get busy and when nit is full the buses just bypass the stops. deuce Route: Schedules, Stops & Maps - Deuce on the Strip Northbound (moovitapp.com)

My younger relatives use uber or lyft to get to Vegas resorts from the airport. They use the strip shuttle and uber to go to other areas of Vegas. I rent a car but have used the strip shuttle or bus when we were drinking.

good info. We’ll Uber from the airport , use local shuttle around strip and rent a car for three days mid-week.

The resort does have a free shuttle to the Strip. The is a shopping center not too far away. But, it is about a 15-20 minute walk. The bar on property has some decent food. There's also a Denny's immediately next door. With this being your first visit to Vegas I highly suggest a trip to Fremont St. Last I knew the resort does organize a shuttle to Fremont at least once a week. Ask at the concierge desk.

@MdRef should be able to help out here...

Others have answered quite well. Not much more I could add. ;)

Take the shuttle to the rental car center. Take an Uber or taxi from there to Tahiti Village. You'll save a lot on a taxi, a little on an Uber.

There is a middling "outlet mall" a short walk from the resort. Most importantly, Las Vegas Blvd is lined with chain restaurants at the edge of the mall parking lot. Buff Wild Wings, Chili's, Cane's, that sort. Check Google Maps for all the restaurants! There is also a Denny's right on property.
