Anyone know when Southwest typically opens up their Christmas airfares? They are only booking till Nov 4 right now.
 
May 24. It's on their website. You have to look kind of hard for it though. :D It's under Customer Service, Travel Tools.

We are currently accepting air reservations through November 4, 2011. On May 24, we will open our schedule for sale through January 6, 2012. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

Luanne, thanks for the tip on where to find the info, going to have starting paying more attention to SWA since the DOJ gave the okay for the Airtran deal.

When did they start hiding the release dates? I vaguely remember being able to find it easier a few years ago.

I think the information got harder to find with one of the overhauls of their website. It did used to be much easier to find.
