SW 101- Need specific help in Splitting and Usage

DeniseM or any Tugger with Experience: How would you do the following as far as timelines go:

1. Want to reserve one of the bedrooms at Westin Mission Hills for February or March 2010.

2. Want to exchange the other bedroom for Westin Cancun Lagunamar for February or March 2010

Questions:

1. Do I call 12 months out and reserve the WHOLE unit first?

2. At 8 months out, 9AM EST, do I call again and exchange one of the units for Lagunamar?

3. Do you think it matters on which bedroom Lagunamar request gets -- as far as the higher priority?

4. Are Lagunamar units like Mission Hills; i.e., one bigger bedroom and one smaller -- or is it one bedroom and one studio-type?

Appreciate any clues to make this plan work! Thank you in advance

Oh -- want to avoid Easter week -- anyone know when that is in 2010???

Questions:

No - at 12 mos. you only reserve the unit you are going to use yourself.

2. At 8 months out, 9AM EST, do I call again and exchange one of the units for Lagunamar?

Yes, you just call and say you want to make a Staroptions exchange.

3. Do you think it matters on which bedroom Lagunamar request gets -- as far as the higher priority?

Yes - because each side is worth a particular number of Staroptions and that will determine what size unit you get at Lagunamar. You need to look at the Staroption Chart in Owner Resources and see what each side of your timeshare is worth and how many Staroptions each unit is worth at Lagunamar.

4. Are Lagunamar units like Mission Hills; i.e., one bigger bedroom and one smaller -- or is it one bedroom and one studio-type?

There is a floor plan in owner resources under Resort Information.
