I just bought a Bella 2 BR Gold resale on eBay. I haven't seen the deed yet, but the eBay ad said that it allowed for reservations in weeks 1-6, 18-22, and 35-50.

The current SVO pricing sheet says that Gold for Bella is weeks 1-6, 18-22, 35-38 and 48-50. That means that if the eBay ad is correct (and I readily admit it may not have been), then weeks 39-47 have at some point been removed from Gold and made Plat.

Can anyone shed any light on this? If I have a deed that says I have access to weeks 39-47, will I still be able to reserve these weeks even though they are now Plat weeks in the SVO computer? Or have these weeks always been Plat and I should have this thread deleted and slink away quietly?

I've wondered that same thing. The change seems to have been put in place regarding the Bella section for 2009 to align it with the other three sections at VV. I would think that that the new weeks apply to those using staroptions to book time there and not to those who have Bella as a home resort.

In that way it would be similar to the way it works at SVR right now with staroption value worth 76,000 options for owners and costing 81,000 options for others to book there.

Thanks colmo. At least I'm not hallucinating about the change! :p

I guess there are two questions then:

1. Can an owner of a Bella Gold week still book a week at SVV in weeks 39-47?

2. If the owner of a Bella Gold week wants to use Staroptions to book nights in a Bella room in weeks 39-47, are they charged the Plat week rate?

Has Key West always had these weeks as Plat weeks?

Hello there. We own fixed week 47 at SVV (Bella). Now that week is considered Platinum.

We cannot use that week and apply it for an even exchange with other Platinum weeks within SVN. We bought Gold and will remain Gold :( They will base it on the Staroptions you originally got).

We can choose to stay either at Bella or KeyWest during that week. (no problem)
