Hi, I just confirmed an RCI trade into Vistana, and as I was reviewing the confirmation, I see this 8/6 2BR noted as "No Kitchen."

Travel Dates: 29-Jan-2012 - 05-Feb-2012
Unit Size: 2 Bedrooms Max Occ/Priv: 8/6
Kitchen: No Kitchen
Exchange Trading Power: 10

Can that be correct?

Sheraton Vistana Villages or Sheraton Vistana Resort?

Both had full kitchens.

Sheraton Vistana Resort (#0450)

Has to be a misprint at RCI.

Also, any way to tell which section this unit might be in with an 8/6 designation?

Nevermind about the kitchen, I logged out of RCI, the logged back in and *presto* the unit has a full kitchen.

But I am still interested in which secion an 8/6 might be in...

Not sure about the sections but everytime I've confirmed a sleeps 8 they put you on the first floor. Used to say something about that on the site. They have stairs so if that's an issue they tell you to confirm a sleeps 8 unit.

Thanks, looks like we might be in any section. We'll see when we get there!

Thanks again for the info...

No - some only sleep 6.

There are sections where there are 2BR lockouts on every floor and they sleep 8. (Cascades is one, there are probably others) The Cascades 2BR also sleep 8 (6 privately - the second bedroom has 2 full size beds) and are also on every floor. These buildings do have elevators, however.

Palms and Falls two bedroom units max. sleep 6 and most Courts two bedrooms also max. sleeps six. But I believe that you wouldn't be placed in the Spas phase as those villas are Saturday only check-ins. All of the other phases will sleep 8 and have Sunday check-ins.

I wish my kitchen could be *updated* that fast!!!

Loved the Vistana when we stayed there. Some sections are niceer than others, but as a whole the resort is well kept and clean.

Enjoy your trip!

They whole resort has been completely renovated - there should no longer be some sections that are nicer than others.
