Resorts Owned
Used to own: WKORV-N; SVV - Bella
More browsing through my owner's manual. There's a lot of info there, though it's a bit dated. (I think this was published in '06 when WKORV-N first came on the market).

There's some surprising data here. For instance, there are almost double the number of SVN members at WKORV vs. WKV. That might explain the difficulty in trading in.

And some resort I've never heard of (Bella Florida) has over 18,000 SVN members!

Anyway, here it is:

2. Because not all owners of vacation ownership interests in all SVN resorts will become members of SVN, only a limited number of Vacation Periods at such SVN Resorts, if any, will be available from time to time for reservation by SVN Members. Consequently, purchasers should not rely on the status of a particular resort as an SVN Resort in determining whether to purchase a VOI in an SVN Resort;

SVN Members may make reservations in accordance with the SVN Documents for any SVN Resort that is affiliated with SVN from time to time by SVN Operator. The names and addresses of all SVN currently participating in SVN are as follows:

Bella is Vistana Village, I think. But I thought Broadway Plantation was bigger then the Vistana phases.

Ok, I found my answer. This is from an article in the Orlando Business Journal, July 18, 2006. Notice the final build out total for Vistana Villages 1,415!

Starwood Vacation Ownership says it plans to continue expanding its time share product on more than a dozen properties throughout the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean.

The Orlando-based company, a division of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. (NYSE: HOT), plans to add more than 1,600 new units to its portfolio of properties that currently operate under the Sheraton, Westin and St. Regis brands, including 195 new units at the Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando.

Vistana Villages, the successor to the company's flagship resort -- Sheraton Vistana Resort -- will add seven new buildings to the property through the end of 2007. The expansion will bring Vistana Villages to 615 units. The potential buildout is 1,415 units.

The other expansion projects will bring Starwood's total number of time share units to more than 6,000.

Some of the projects are new, including developments in New York City, Aruba, Mexico and Hawaii. The expansion plans include:

The St. Regis Residence Club in New York, which Starwood says is the first hotel-affiliated fractional property in New York; 22 units
The St. Regis Residence Club, in Punta Mita, Mexico, a new mixed-use development that includes a hotel, whole ownership residences and a fractional resort; 36 freestanding villas
The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas in Kauai, Hawaii; seven two- and three-story guest buildings with 179 two-bedroom lock-off units and six hotel units, opening in early 2008
The Westin Ka'anapali beachfront resort, located next door to the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort in Maui; 258 two-bedroom lock-off units
The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas North II, Maui, Hawaii; a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units
The Westin St. John Resort & Villas, St. John Virgin Islands; 54 lofts
The Westin Aruba Resort & Spa, Aruba; 154 two-bedroom lock-off units
The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort, Cancun, Mexico; 296 two-bedroom lock-off villas
The Westin Kierland Villas, Phoenix, Ariz.; 158 villas
The Westin Desert Willow Villas, Palm Springs, Calif.; vacation ownership resort
The Sheraton Kauai, Hawaii; 388 one-, two- and three-bedroom units
The Sheraton Broadway Plantation, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 504 villas

Holy crap! I'd imagine that would be a very easy trade to get into. Of course, if they build the final phase in Maui, they'll have almost 800 villas (provided NN is around 250).
