I have a March 2013 week on hold - anyone been there recently? Any fishing?? We have the week before this in Sarasota so this would be week #2 for March 2013. Anyone have any thoughts?
Our son and family stayed in a unit there several years ago and I have a friend that owns there. These are stand-alone houses with 3 bedrooms. Resort is on sound, but not on a beach. Has a pool and a pier. I'll try to answer any other questions you have about it. Not fancy, but nice units.
We did confirm the unit. Everywhere says they are all 3 bedrooms but the confirmation from RCI say 2 bedrooms. Do you know for a fact that they are all 3?? Thanks. We know it will be quiet with no one above us - which is A-OK with us!!
Our first TS exchange ('89). The fishing from their pier wasn't very good as the water is shallow. The mosquitoes were terrible when I was using the grill. But despite that, we enjoyed the trip and it sold us on time sharing.
The one bedroom has I believe, like a sliding window/door or something so RCI doesn't consider it a bedroom, but it really is. If you want more info on what to do/see in area post again or send me a PM. We live part-time nearby, so are quite familiar with the area.
I see one unit is listed as a 2 bedroom with private whirlpool room. If you really need the 3 bedroom, I'd call resort prior to checkin to make sure you get one.
