I have no horse in the race. (Die-Hard Cowboys fan).....I pick Chiefs and/or the numbers I have in a few SB pools I'm in..

I'm betting on the 49ers b/c Jimmy Garoppolo is a local boy -- graduate of Rolling Meadows High School. We have a powerhouse high school football team and he's our hometown guy.

I grew up in LA, which makes it impossible to root for the niners.

I've always been a 49ers fan since Dwight Clark's (RIP) "The Catch" that knocked out the Cowboys (Sorry, Carta).

Now who do I think will win? I will say the Niners because, this time, the Chiefs won't be able to surmount a double-digit deficit like they did against Houston and Tennessee.

KC

We are Patriots fans, and although they are not in the SB this year we will watch. Both teams are very talented so it should be a fun game.

I think KC but anticipate a good high scoring game.

Packers. Really, I don't care but hope it's a close nail biter game that ends in overtime.

Bill

Lions! ...ya didn't say what century did you?? LOL

As my name suggests----you know what team I wish was in it.

I hemmed and hawwed, and came up with a decision.

Patrick Mahomes is EXTREMELY FUN to watch---and can do MANY great things in a game. So, KC won't likely be "...out of it".
I think they have the ONE best way to win it----their OFFENSE is better.

But, SF can win I think 3 ways. First, with the RUN, and (2nd way) to a lesser degree, if they have to Pass. Third-----with their DEFENSE, especially front four!!!!----I think they may have Mahomes scrambling MANY, MANY times. He does it VERY WELL, but I think quite a few of the times will result in negative results. If he's HURRIED quite often OFTEN, you will see Over/Under throws, Inaccurate passes. And if it's more damaging----it'll result in Sacks, Fumbles, Interceptions-----that's yet another way SF can win.

I am thinking 27-24 SF---but it's hard to believe that Mahomes won't be able to do his 'magic' again............

We are not football fans, but I would choose Chiefs because we lived in KC or the area within an hours drive for 30 years. We went to a Super Bowl Party back in January 1970 and they won.

Both teams are awesome, but, have to go with JimmyG, who was once a Patriot.

49ers only because we used to live in the Bay Area and they are my bff's team.

Born and raised in SF Bay Area so I'm going with JimmyG and his boys.

Chips and guacamole, add in some salsa.

The Niners will win, and it won't be a close game. The Chiefs' Achilles heel is their defense. They will try to stack the box to stop the 49ers' run game, but Jimmy G is more than just a "game manager" and will shred the Chiefs defense when Kittle and Deebo Samuel get single coverage.
