I think they have changed the name of the resort recently to Suites and Fall Creek. We just returned from a great week.

We stayed in building 25, the new building, in a two bedroom deluxe. The suite was spacious, clean, luxurious. Plasma TV in living room. enclosed sun room with dining table AND separate dining room. All applianced were up to date. A beautiful place. No thin walls. We wereonthefirst floor of a three floor building and heard NO neighbor sounds, although they were there. No spiders, no bugs of any kind.

The guest services building is easily found as soon as you enter the property. A light was out over the whirlpool tub. Someone was there and fixed it within ten minutes of our call. The people who worked there were extremely friendly and efficient. Check in and out was a breeze. They had many activities on the grounds, a large indoor pool and four outdoor pools, and minature golf. There was a work out room that had the latest equipment. It was not a large room but hardly used. They had free internet access and printed our return flight boarding passes for us.

We went to the timeshare presentation which was extremely low pressure and informative. For that we received a 100 dollar visa card and excellent discounts to good shows.

I have ready many "knocks" on this sunterra property. I cannot account for the older buildings but the knew ones are excellent and deserve a five star.

New ownership of Sunterra is bent on improving all of their resorts and bringing them up to the standards of the very best in the business. From what I've heard and seen they seem to be doing just that and doing it surprisingly quickly.

The major complaint I have read about Fall Creek is that it is such a hodgepodge of stuff. Regular resort, lower end rental condos, campground, park model trailer park . . .

Some people like to be at a resort resort when they go to a resort. ;)

I've stayed at Plantation Fall Creek several times and never had a bad unit (or even an older unit). The units are not the very best in Branson, but they are in the upper third - I've stayed at several different Branson locations.

The scenery surrounding the property is not the greatest, BUT it's one of my favorite resorts because of the trout fishing available there. The activities offered are above average also.

If you want to rent a boat, you can do so very cheaply there. If you want to fish off the dock, then they have a very nice boat dock that they allow you to fish from - shaded and even with chairs.

By the way, October/November is one of the best times to go trout fishing there. Here's a link to the marina - http://www.fallcreekmarina.com/

JLB - We had our daughter's wedding at Ledgestone (Stonebridge) this weekend and it was outstanding! That's one beautiful location...

Stonebridge is my choice for favorite resort/timeshare in the Branson area - I would base that choice on the golf  and the local scenery and quietness of the area.

If you want to be near all the Branson action, you'll probably want to choose somewhere closer. Stonebridge is very near Silver Dollar City, about 8-10 miles outside of Branson and the village itself is very spread out. It all depends on what you're looking for.

As I posted on another thread, I was there. :D

Just as I finished the 18th, the wedding march started and the bride came down the aisle!

Itsa small world.

Actually, I did some minor coordinating with the Wedding planners.

I love wedding cake, but decided not to crash the party. :D

I remember your previous inquiries and I believe I recommended the clubhouse. So, I kinda wondered.
