We are seeking to reserve our first visit at a studio at Sunrise Lodge. Looked at the helpful Sticky but still have questions:

1) The difference between Studio Plus and Studio Premier is lower floor vs. higher floor, correct?

2) "STP" appears to be the only studio that has a separate sitting area and fireplace? Is this because the other studios are lock-offs?

3) What do the 2, 3, 4 denote? That these are lock-offs from a 2 bdrm, 3 bdrm, 4 bdrm? or are these denoting floors? Does it make any difference which one of these studios we reserve? i.e. which offers the best location and highest floor potential?

Thanks for your insights.

From the sticky thread (post #2) - Sticky HGVC Detailed Resort & Affiliated Information

Sunrise Lodge Room Codes:
Sunrise has single studios, 1-BR, 2-BR, 3-BR and 4-BR. All of the 2/3/4 has LOs for the studios. So that is the configuration of Sunrise Lodge. On the web site, I see the following (Plus units) for studios, STP, ST2, ST3 & ST4. Per conversations with club reservations, the stand-alone studio unit was STP. ST2 is part of 2-Br unit, ST3 is part of 3-Br unit and ST4 is part of 4-Br unit.

Sunrise Lodge Rooms:
83 total units with:
12-Studio Plus (STP)
16-1Br Plus (1BP)
32-2Br Plus (2LK)
9-3Br Plus (3LK)
3-4Br Plus (4LK)
5-1Br Premier (1BX)
1-2Br Premier (2LP)
4-3Br Premier (3LP)
1-4Br Premier (4LP)

The sticky thread also has a resort map and possible locations based on unit size.

All of the premier studio units indicate upper floors in their description.
For example from the member website - https://club.hiltongrandvacations.com/en/resort/utah/sunrise-lodge-a-hilton-grand-vacations-club/

Studio Premier (SP2)
Size 380 sqft Accommodates 2 guests
This cozy Premier studio is located on the upper floors of the resort and features a vaulted ceiling and open balcony. The unit is furnished with two queen-size beds and TV, and includes a separate bath with a standard combination tub and shower, as well as a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker. This unit does not include a washer and dryer

Studio Plus (STP)
Size 380 sqft Accommodates 2 guests
This cozy Plus studio is furnished with a queen-size bed and a TV, and features an open balcony and a separate bath with a standard combination tub and shower. The kitchenette offers a small refrigerator, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker. This unit does not include a washer and dryer. Most units also include a separate sitting area, fireplace and burner top.
Also, take a look at the descriptions at Hilton.com they tend to provide more details. It’s interesting that Hilton.com guests can directly reserve a studio room with fireplace but HGVC members can’t.

I have never been in a premier unit but I believe they should have a vaulted ceilings. The STP and SP2 (pure studio units) will have an outside door to the hallway. The studio units part of 2/3/4 bd (LO units) will have a common door part of the unit to the hallway.

We have stayed in a Premier 1BR and it was a huge, corner unit on the top floor.
