I will be checking flexchange, and need to travel on Sunday. If the marriott property has a check-in Friday, Saturday, Sunday, when should i do the flexchange search? 59 days from the Sunday i want to travel or 59 days from the saturday so that i can see if the place i want to travel is even available that week.

I think the 59 days is based on date of travel and doesn't coincide with how Marriott checkin days work. You would have to wait 3 extra days to book a Sunday checkin via flexchange over a Thursday checkin. I don't think it is the same as the Marriott reservatino policy (calling on first checkin day).
