I am used to researching all our vacations....but the family (including young adult children) are interested in trying an all inclusive and although I'd love to fly somewhere......it has to be warm and driving distance <12 hours from South Carolina.....and I can't find anything! I tried the club med sandpiper but I can't even find a single available date to get prices (maybe I'll call tomorrow).
We are cruising in December and driving to Ft Lauderdale so that will work. But in April we'd like to find something near a relatively warm beach in Florida.
We really liked Hammock Resort (near St Augustine) last year...but it was not all inclusive and not alot of night life on site for the young adults.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your travel help!

If you go to Expedia and search hotels for an area you want to travel to, one of the options on the next page is "All inclusive option". Found one in FLL, for example, using that method, but not on the beach.

That might lead you in the right direction.

I don't believe there are any all inclusive timeshares in the US. I'd also think the cost would be, well, more than I'd be willing to pay.

Edited to add:

When playing around with other areas in Florida, the All inclusive option did not come up. I assume that if it doesn't come up, there are none in that area that offer that option.

Not much help but maybe a step.

Just tried the Club Med site and got prices for April 21 to 28 - $1716 for two adults.

Maybe clear your cookies and try again?

Thanks

It looks like the only one in Florida I could find was the Club Med Sandpiper (and I did get prices $2400 for 2 adults for the week we were thinking about - pricey.....but it also isn't on the ocean). Other than that the others I found (and Robert confirmed) are not in Florida and tend to be more of the dude ranch type of atmosphere.

Since we aren't interested this time in the dude ranch we may look at a large beach resort. Something with nice restaurants, evening entertainment, great beach and swimming pool complex.......Any ideas?.....Actually I can recommend the Hammock Beach resort except there wasn't much close by for evening activities and entertainment. Anyone with other suggestions - We're staying at Oceana Palms before our cruise in December...so we'll check that one out as well as the area. I'm still looking for suggestions though....
Thanks,
Judy

Heck. Take a cruise. They are all inclusive (except booze) and you don't get much more ocean view than being in the middle of it. There's a ton of 'em from the Southeast. :)
