A guy came by the house today, asking about my husband. I told the guy my husband was in the back yard, fertilizing the garden. He asked if he could go back there to talk to him. I said, "Sure. But if you actually want to see him be sure to grab the shovel that's on the side of the house on your way back there."
 
That's a variation on my idea that we should be born old, and gradually become younger, until we collapse into an egg and vanish. I haven't worked out the details.

That was done by F. Scott Fitzgerald in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," where a man is born elderly and ages backward, becoming physically younger as time goes on.

This is the best one I have ever seen:
