My husband just asked Alexa the temperature, she said:

B..R..R..R It's 8 degrees... I didn't realize she had such a sense of humor. She must be set on smarta$$ mode.

Yes, this is the new Alexa+ ... she actually started to argue with me when I told her she was too chatty. But when I asked her "do you mean "sorry I can't do that dave"?" (my name is dave) she understood the reference and made a remark about not being a HAL9000.

Too much for me. I uninstalled Alexa+ and went back to my old friend.

I thought about this for the Catherine O'Hara RIP thread, because SCTV is where I first came to adore her as a performer. But that could also be said about the ensemble as well.

O'Hara is great as Margaret Meehan, but the sketch mostly belongs mostly to Eugene Levy, in one of his first performances as Alex Trebel. And, of course, Levy and O'Hara went on from here to so many more memorable performances together. (Alex Trebek loved Eugene Levy's impersonations, BTW.)
